  • Editing & Presentation

I am a Photographic artist from Miami Florida, with great attention to detail. I create images that document scenarios that are real and that have been staged. In my work I use both film and digital, it all depends on the desired look and feel I want to achieve. The beauty of natural light fascinates me and is usually my main source of lighting.

Photographing everyday life and people, utilizing their unique traits in formulating my visual narratives. Working in traditional processes and alternative processes.

As a commercial photographer, I specialize in lifestyle, fashion, and portraiture. Besides working as a professional lifestyle photographer, I have a passion for teaching others the magic of photography.

I speak English and Spanish fluently.

MEET YOUR TEACHER: PHOTOGRAPHER JANEL KILNISAN

In this day and age teens as well as adults find photography an essential language to communicate. Images are omnipresent in our society. Think social media, advertising, videogames, movies, and streaming services. The list could go on and on. Learning how to capture great images is a required skill for almost everything we do.

We've put together a dynamic course with content you would find in a beginner's and an intermediate course. You'll learn to take good photos but also interesting and creative ones, going beyond the limits of an intro course. Be ready to learn techniques, the use of the camera, composition rules, and tricks of the trade. Home assignments and two shoots on location guided by Photographer Janel Kilnisan help you cement your new set of skills. Parents must accompany minors to shoots on locations.
