THE CREATIVITY SUMMER CAMP FOR KIDS IN DORAL combines two camps each week:

• AWARD-WINNING ART SUMMER CAMP FOR KIDS 
  
• STEAM/STEM SUMMER CAMP FOR KID
  

The Art Shack has consistently received the yearly "Expertise Laurels Award" for TOP Painting and Drawing lessons in Miami since  2017. Expertise.com recognizes the top 10 programs in Miami.

We've got you!

​​We offer drop-in classes on weekdays and on Saturdays (availability will vary)

Mix and Match days and times to suit your needs. Check out the options available for drop-in classes each week for Kids & Teens.

This will allow parents to bring them some days instead of all week, and choose the time slots or slots that best work for them. 

Kids & Teens have alternatives to come to create. Our students love our classes cause they can choose what to do and learn The Art Shack way!

summer camp starts on June 13th. 2022. 

• Our activities are open enough to allow for personal input and creativity but closed enough to encourage learning through critical thinking and creative problem-solving. We develop fun and engaging projects and explorations both in ART and in STEAM -science, technology, engineering, art, math-.
  
• Our camp is highly personalized. We know your child is a unique human being who will work at their own pace and level as well as have their own ideas! ​
  
• We've been offering our Creativity Camp for over 12 years. Diverse activities take kids to make art that is unique, with varied materials ranging from ceramic clay to photosensitive paper. 
• We launched the MakeSpace Program in 2019 (STEAM) and were sold out each week. MakeSpace teaches children how to make things that work. We use low-tech and experimentation in areas as diverse as aerodynamics, bioengineering and energy propulsion. ​

Makespace •STEAM (STEM+ART) SUMMER CAMP FOR KIDS IN DORAL

IN-PERSON SUMMER CAMP FOLLOWING THE CDC GUIDELINES. 

Ages: ​​participants 6 and up. (Some younger ones enjoy this camp too. We know all kids mature at different rates. We encourage parents to reach out if they are unsure if this camp is right for their child)

What it's about:

This camp is about making things that work.

• Each week we explore a different kind of technology or source of energy through fun and engaging projects. Themes include electrical circuits, aerodynamics, mechanics, chain reactions, propulsion, and others. 
  
• Analytical Thinking and Creative Problem Solving are at the core of this camp. Children discover that mistakes are to be valued as a source of information and build resilience and perseverance by testing and going back to make adjustments until their object or process works!

Summer Camp Doral

ART CREATIVITY SUMMER CAMP FOR KIDS In Doral

IN-PERSON SUMMER CAMP

Ages: participants 5 and up. (We know all kids mature at different rates. We encourage parents to reach out if they are unsure if this camp is right for their child)

​What it's about:

Creating all sorts of artwork from traditional to new and extraordinary, always keeping creativity at the heart of it all. 

• Each week we explore a new fun theme through different open-ended projects*
  
• Creations vary in media, subject matter, and technique. Kids have the freedom to incorporate their own ideas into each project, make choices, and test alternatives. Exploration and creation are at the core of this camp. 
• We adapt the activities to the level of each child, stimulate the creative process, and respect their ideas
